He is a great loss for many - his own students additionally to a whole potential generation of electronics engineers. Māris was a genius mind & an integral figure in the development of several Erica Synths instruments including the SYNTRX and SYNTRX II. His diligent work has made many things, before thought impossible, possible and it will continue to live on for many years to come through music and art created on instruments that were born out of his efforts. Farewell from all of us, onward to white shores and beyond.
