Can't update my Perkons

Yes - this is happening because you are trying to open the .img file on your computer - it is not designed to be recognized by your computer, but by the PĒRKONS itself - it has to be placed on the SD card. To install it, connect the SD card of the PĒRKONS to your computer, open the root directory (simply open the SD card - this is the first window you see) Place the .img file here and eject the SD card. Make sure the PĒRKONS is turned off and re-insert the SD card - mind the orientation when connecting it, the golden connectors of the card should be facing upwards (it is upside-down). Power on the PĒRKONS while holding down all four trigger cherry keys on the right side of the sequencer rows - you will see the sequencer rows briefly illuminate and the first and third rows sequentially light up, followed by the second and fourth rows - you will then see the sequencer steps and the PĒRKONS will be in normal operation mode - the update has been installed.
