Drum Stereo DJ VCF

As its name suggests, the Erica Synths DJ VCF STEREO module provides sound treatment functionality typically found on DJ decks – it is fully open when the cutoff knob is at 12:00. When turned counter-clockwise, lowpass filtering is applied and when turned clockwise, highpass filtering is initiated. Additionally, there is a nice-sounding, adjustable resonance parameter. This provides hands-on control over the sound during performances as well as unconventional timbre modulations that are hard to achieve with conventional state variable filters.

EDU DIY Hi-Hat

Synthesized, analog Hi-Hats are pretty fascinating. That’s because emulating any kind of cymbal using an analog circuit is tough since the sound a real cymbal produces is not quite pure noise, but also not really harmonic. Still, a couple of classic drum machines like the Roland TR-606 and TR-808 took their best shot at it, with quite strange-sounding results that have since become iconic in electronic music. Inspired by this, we decided to follow suit and continue our percussion-focused second season of educational DIY kits with the mki x es.edu DIY Hi-Hats.

Hexinverter VCNO

VCNO is a noise oscillator, capable of producing full spectrum white noise and various random signals. But that’s where its similarity to other noise generators stops. VCNO can be used like a VCO – you can modulate the pitch over CV and use its multiple outputs simultaneously, each with a distinct sonic character. As well, you can patch it into a VCA or use it to modulate and trigger other elements in your modular system.

EDU DIY Kick Drum

There’s nothing quite like the sound of old-school analog drum machines. Especially classic kicks like Roland’s 808 and 909 are ubiquitous in electronic music. Unfortunately, their circuitry is notoriously complex and difficult to understand. Enter the mki x es.edu DIY Kick Drum kit, which not only aims to shed some light on the fundamental circuit design principles behind those circuits – but also captures their unmistakable sound as a fully-fledged Eurorack module.

The Erica Synths Black Sequencer takes classical modular sequencing to the next level by adding tons of features required for contemporary modular synthesizers. B- stock consists of items from demo systems and items sent back from our customers. Drum Synthesizer LXR-02 B-Stock

Two companies - Sonic Potions and Erica Synths joined efforts to develop a drum machine that would stand apart from the masses and the LXR-02 was born. The LXR is a full-fledged digital drum machine with an integrated sequencer. Its sound engine provides 6 different instruments, each with over 30 parameters to tweak, producing sounds from classic analog emulations to crunchy digital mayhem, thus offering some of the most extensive sound design capabilities found on a drum synthesizer. Its compact, durable design and clear user interface make it ideal for live gigs. B- stock consists of items from demo systems and items sent back from our customers. Bullfrog Voice Cards

Voice cards expand the functionality of the Bullfrog and make it even more versatile. Some voice cards replace patch cables - they connect the "modules* of the Bullfrog internally, while others have built-in mixers, signal generators, and advanced electrical circuits to control the synthesizer, for example, the Sequencer sends CV to control pitch and gate to start events on the synthesizer and the Sampler/Looper emulates reel to reel tape recorder functionality

Graphic VCO B-stock

Erica Synths Graphic VCO allows you to draw your own waveforms, arrange them in wavetables and wavetable banks, morph between two selected waves and alter the resulting wave in advanced ways (FXes) – apply FM, phase distortion, ring modulation, wavefold/wavewrap, bitcrush.
